The Skwalas have arrived

Hmmmm…….    We all know what this means.  Montana Fly Fishing just took a step in the right direction today.   The Skwalas are out in force!  Our Montana Fishing Guides were out on the Bitterroot river yesterday.  We say a number of Skwala Stone Flies and the fish were eating them on the top!  I had the opportunity to ride along with Bill and Helen for a short float just outside Hamilton, Montana.  Just out of the gate we anchored up on a little drop off and tested the waters.  The first cast I made was a direct hit. Boom!!!!  Just seconds after my Skwala dry fly hit the water a native Montana trout was tricked.  I love it when this happens.  Helen followed with a nice fish inn a dropper.
